SCP Supports Navy Supply Corps Dependents’ Scholarships

On Friday, May 4th at Laurel Hill Golf Club in Lorton, VA, Strategic Consulting Partners (SCP) sponsored a tee box at the Springfest Golf Tournament and Fundraiser to support scholarships for Navy Supply Corps dependents. This annual event is hosted by the NSCF-WAC and raised over $4,000 for the NSCF Scholarship Fund.
Over the past 40 years, the NSCF has awarded over $4 million in scholarships to more than 2,100 dependents and descendants of its members and of current and former enlisted Supply Corps personnel. Scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis and may be named after major contributors to the NSCF. In addition, NSCF gives memorial scholarships of $10,000 to the minor children of Supply Corps personnel who die while on active duty.
The NSCF is a nonprofit, philanthropic, and social organization that exists to perpetuate the values, traditions, and history of the U.S. Navy Supply Corps throughout the lives of individuals in the Supply Corps community. NSCF-WAC exists to engage its members in professional development, community involvement, charitable endeavors and social interaction. NSCF-WAC strives to promote “esprit de corps” and camaraderie among the Supply Corps within the DC area.
