In recognition of Reema’s “superb performance” and her contributions to carrying out her team’s mission, Strategic Consulting Partners consultant Reema Chaudhry was recently awarded a challenge coin from Jimmy D. Smith, Deputy Assistant to the Navy for the Expeditionary Programs and Logistics Management (DASN-ELM).

While we have recognized for a while now that Reema is a woman of many talents, it is awesome to know that others recognize her talents, too. Not only is she a fast learner who absorbs, processes and applies new skills quickly, she is also a detail-oriented professional who is a great addition to any team.

We are very proud to announce that she was recognized for her contributions to the team led by Jimmy D. Smith, Deputy Assistant Secretary to the Navy, and was awarded a challenge coin. Her supervisor, Colonel John T. Gutierrez, shared his appreciation for Reema’s work:

“I just wanted to touch base with you on Reema’s performance for us here at DASN (ELM). In short, she and her efforts have been outstanding and she was recognized last week by Mr. Smith with an ASN (RD&A) coin for her superb performance. In addition, DASN ELM is currently the model for tasker management among the other DASNs. Thank you again for your support and please let me know if you have any questions.”

Receiving such a coin is a tremendous honor for anyone – especially for a civilian. Receiving a coin is recognition of having gone above and beyond expectations to overcome challenges, by leading teams and implementing initiatives that improve organizational performance.

“As a contractor, I was surprised and honored to receive the coin. The DASN (ELM) team is comprised of a great group of individuals that help me throughout the day. Working together, we can overcome any obstacle.”

Reema joined the Strategic Consulting Partners team with Active Security Clearance and fluency in four languages. In addition to her work as Operation Analyst at the office of the Chief of Staff to the DASN (ELM), she has also worked as a contractor for Innovative Aviation Services, Inc. and Aegis Corp., Inc., and as an Ophthalmic Technician at Retina Group of Washington.
