Strategic Consulting Partners (SCP) Chief Development Officer, Jasmine Gould was honored as a 2018 Rising Star of GovCon at the awards event was held on October 23 at Highline RxR in Arlington, Va.

The Rising Stars of GovCon event recognizes emerging leaders in the DC area’s thriving government contracting industry. These up-and-coming business executives from leadership, finance, technology, sales and marketing, and other areas have contributed to the growth and success of government contracting.

Jasmine Gould’s clients and business partners see her as persistent and dedicated in nurturing relationships and always bringing the right people to the table to generate new business clients and the team’s required to solve clients’ needs. Most people find federal contracting intimidating and complex, but not Jasmine. She gets motivated by overcoming challenges and her tenacity drives SCP’s continued success in this difficult market.

As a result of Jasmine’s new business pursuits, SCP has built a good book of business with these government clients and flexes a hefty bench of knowledge workers—many with over twenty years of experience and on their second careers.

Jasmine Gould’s primary responsibility with SCP is driving marketing efforts in the federal government sector. She monitors and raises the company’s reputation and mind share throughout northern VA and DC by networking and participating in the community. Her passion for growing the business in DC led her to join the Arlington Chamber of Commerce where she has chaired the Membership Engagement Committee for last four years, started a membership initiative from scratch to enhance the Chamber’s retention and membership engagement plan.

Jasmine also serves as the Chair of the Communication’s committee for the Small Business Association for International Companies (SBAIC) for the last four years. Serving on the board of SBAIC has played a pivotal role in growing SCP’s network in the international development market. She has also helped to grow SBAIC’s membership through internal and external strategic communication and marketing efforts.
