Leaders today face a constant stream of complexity—tight timelines, shifting priorities, difficult relationships, and high turnover. Many wrestle with work-life balance, imposter syndrome, and the pressure to perform in uncertain environments. Mike partners with leaders to navigate these challenges with clarity and confidence. His coaching approach centers on self-discovery, helping clients generate their own strategies and hold themselves accountable for meaningful growth.

Mike brings more than 35 years of leadership experience as a Department of Defense Senior Executive and Marine Corps Reserve Colonel. He is an International Coaching Federation credentialed coach (ACC), known for his ability to help clients get “unstuck” and grow into the leaders they aspire to be. His coaching focuses on managing work-life stress, navigating conflict and difficult relationships, improving strategic thinking, and building high-performance teams, especially in times of uncertainty. He also supports clients in overcoming imposter syndrome and developing habits that lead to greater productivity and resilience.

Before becoming a coach, Mike spent over two decades as a litigator in both private and government practice, handling complex civil litigation for clients ranging from sole proprietors to Fortune 500 companies. Mike left the full-time practice of law to become a Defense Department Senior Executive Service member. His SES positions included selection as DoD’s first Director of Privacy and Civil Liberties; Assistant G-1 for Civilian Personnel leading world-wide programs in all areas of human capital management affecting nearly 300,000 U.S. Army employees; and the Army’s Director of Installation Services, responsible for oversight of policies and resources for more than $4 billion annually in housing, environment, and logistics programs on all Army installations worldwide.

Mike’s military career spanned 33 years, including five years on active duty and 28 in the Marine Corps Reserve, culminating in his retirement as a Colonel.
