Kimberly Young is a seasoned executive coach and leadership development professional with a multifaceted career that spans over two decades. Based in Mount Airy, MD, Kimberly offers coaching services that are available in-person, virtually, or through hybrid arrangements. She holds advanced degrees, including a master’s in justice administration from Norwich University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology/Behavioral Studies from the University of Maryland University College.
Kimberly is extensively certified in a variety of coaching methodologies, highlighting her expertise in helping individuals and teams thrive. With more than 3,000 hours of coaching experience and eight years as an executive coach, Kimberly has worked with federal agencies such as the Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Government Accountability Office (GAO), and Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). She also coaches faculty and staff members through George Mason University’s Leadership Legacy Coaching Program. Kimberly has co-developed and presented impactful leadership training sessions, such as an interactive course on writing Federal Executive Core Qualification Statements and a presentation titled “Beyond the Technical—Five Leadership Strategies for Connecting with People.”
