The nationally recognized designation equips consultants to support nonprofit organizations in strengthening governance, ethics, accountability, and organizational effectiveness through the Standards for Excellence® framework.

Licensed Consultants are trained to guide organizations in governance and management best practices, conduct organizational assessments, and provide support related to the Standards for Excellence accreditation process.

The May 2026 cohort was completed through a partnership between the Standards for Excellence Institute and the Pennsylvania Association of Nonprofit Organizations (PANO), preparing a new class of professionals to help nonprofits build stronger organizations and increase mission impact. Amy Fazio and Jenny Gallagher Blom were among the seven professionals selected for this distinguished class.

This achievement strengthens SCP’s ability to serve nonprofit organizations, associations, foundations, and community-focused entities nationwide. SCP’s nonprofit consulting practice provides strategic planning, board development, organizational assessments, leadership development, fundraising strategy, and capacity-building services designed to help organizations achieve sustainable growth and long-term success.

By earning this designation, Amy and Jenny further expand SCP’s expertise in helping organizations enhance governance practices, improve accountability, strengthen leadership structures, and align operations with mission-driven outcomes. Their additional training and certification reinforce SCP’s commitment to providing nonprofit leaders with trusted guidance and practical solutions that help organizations navigate complex challenges while building capacity for the future.

“Our team is committed to helping mission-driven organizations achieve excellence in leadership, governance, and organizational performance,” said SCP. “This accomplishment reflects our ongoing investment in professional development and our dedication to bringing the highest level of expertise and support to the nonprofit sector.”
