SCP was honored to join Midwest Food Bank PA in the launch of their #GivingWellness health and wellness challenge at the Harrisburg State Capitol Rotunda steps surrounded by health and fitness advocates, elected officials, business leaders, and pilot companies. It was an energetic #GivingWellness Day on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, which is also celebrated as National Women’s Health & Fitness Day! The #SCP team is thrilled to be piloting the Giving Wellness initiative, an 8 Weeks to Thrive Challenge with Midwest Food Bank Pennsylvania, Precision Training Concepts, and Amber Peterson Coaching. President & CEO Monica Gould was proud to share insights about the SCP team’s experience with the program.

“When Midwest Food Bank PA Executive Director Kathy Anderson-Martin approached us with this innovative program, it was the perfect opportunity for us to ‘walk our talk,’ and I immediately signed us up. For the past 30 years our mission has been to support our employees so they in turn can bring their best selves to work and serve our clients,” said Monica. “Just 3 weeks into our 8-week program, my team is already crushing our Habit Trackers. We are drinking more water, encouraging each other, reducing our sugar, increasing outdoor activities, and building a stronger team nutritionally, physically, and emotionally. And we’re excited to share this with our clients, too!”
