Lisa is a sought-after leadership and career coach, workshop facilitator, and learning content developer who thrives on helping others develop their careers and well-being. Because her father was a lifelong public servant (NYPD, U.S. Army, and CIA) and her husband is a disabled USAF veteran, Lisa has a passion for coaching public servants. She has coached employees at the GS-13 level and above within the Dept. of the Air Force, U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, GSA – FEDSIM, NASA, Dept. of Homeland Security, and military officers within the U.S. Army and Air Force. Lisa has coached clients within private organizations like Nestle, CVS, Highmark, Prisma Health, and several universities and schools.

Lisa was the host and creator of the podcast The Accidental Trainer, manager and producer of the ATD Career Center, and principal author and editor of the book Teachers to Trainers and the workbook Take Charge of Your Career. She has spoken and facilitated workshops on career development topics, such as career fit, Clifton Strengths, effective communication, EQ 2.0, influence and persuasion, job transitions, leadership coaching, networking, trends in L&D, and more.

Before coaching and her L&D work, Lisa was a journalist and communications professional for fifteen years, rising to leadership. Lisa uses the co-active coaching model and cultivates a safe and empathetic space for her clients to deep-dive fearlessly into their values and leadership practices. Lisa draws acute awareness to her clients’ communication techniques and isn’t afraid to challenge her clients so that they grow and create true transformation. She is known for her ability to engage her clients in a deeper level of self-awareness so they can create their action plans to move forward with leadership goals.
