Erik is a strategic consultant with Bee, Bergvall, and Company, and the firm’s Catalyst Center for Nonprofit Management.  He has worked extensively in various financial leadership roles in the nonprofit sector for over 30 years. He served as Controller and Chief Financial Officer for an accredited higher education institution, and then as Chief Financial Officer for a growing Federally Qualified Health Center in North Philadelphia. He has a passion for serving organizations that serve populations in underserved communities.  He has enjoyed working on administrative teams that provide leadership and support for the meaningful work done by nonprofit organizations.

Erik’s areas of expertise include finance, accounting, payroll, budgeting, audit preparation, employee benefits administration, grants management, strategic planning, and real estate development/construction projects.  Erik has had the privilege of working in an urban setting and has appreciated facilitating the work of organizations supporting underserved communities.

Erik currently volunteers as a financial advisor with Vocatio Career Prep High School in North Philadelphia.
