Liz is a dynamic leadership coach and human resources professional leveraging 25 years of experience across corporate, global, nonprofit, government and technology work. With a proven track record of coaching, she works with all levels of leaders to enhance their performance, improve communication, and cultivate a positive workplace culture. Her approach is tailored to meet the unique needs of each client, ensuring sustainable growth and success. She currently serves as a leadership coach for mid-level managers and above who are looking to build leadership presence and grow their business acumen.

With a master’s degree in human resource management, Liz has a broad understanding of the importance of professional development for all employee populations. Her experience in all phases of learning and development gives her the foundation to design and support organizational development programs. Her 12 years holding the CPTD credential, 10 years as an ICF certified coach, and many roles as a human resource professional allow her to create strategy and build programs to support that strategic success. This is evidenced by her successful tenure at ArgonST/Boeing, GMAC, The Michael J. Fox Foundation, SIR, and Softeon.

Liz’s coaching philosophy centers on the importance of deepening leadership capacity in her clients through an emphasis on strengthening leadership presence and communication skills. As Liz’s clients navigate career transitions or professional opportunities, she raises the self-awareness of their strengths and guides them through a process of building capacity, presence, and effectiveness as a leader, colleague, and member of the community. This work enhances creativity, agility, resilience, and authenticity.

While leading the training function at a small defense (engineering) contractor, she led the effort to build a leadership development program for senior leaders and the C-Suite. She leveraged a needs assessment, culture survey, and best practices to design, develop, and deliver a program which met monthly for one year. The leadership competencies used ended up aligning closely with Boeing, who purchased the organization. Their leaders were prepared for a successful transition into the Boeing culture that valued their leadership competencies in all aspects of their work.

While at a medical research foundation, she led the effort to standardized project management at the organization, partnering with an industry leader to customize the training and internal processes to allow for efficient, standard practices to fund and manage research grants. She also set up a PM community of practice to support leadership development within the domain of project management that is still in place today!

Liz enjoys making a positive impact in the lives of others. She has been a swimming instructor for 20 plus years and also volunteers as a career coach for Hire Heroes USA. This effort supports our military members as they transition out of the service and into the corporate world.
